Children of the Living God

I was listening to Fernando Ortega on Pandora radio and heard Alison Krauss's unmistakable vocals and violin in the background of Children of The Living God. They have two collaberations on the 1998 album In This Bright Hour. Why didn't anybody tell me about this great song? Here is the link to the song on You Tube.

It is a great song! I heard Fernando Ortega in concert about 10 years ago and he said he wrote this as an attempt to write something for an Amish community (or maybe Mennonite...not sure) but that of course, it wasn't exactly their style. But it is nice and folksy, which is a lot of fun!

I just recently found Fernando Ortega- like in the past couple of years. I really love his style (your right about the folksy part, almost reminds me of irish folk music). I wanted to see him at Covenant College last month, but we had soccer.
